VISUAL AND ACUSTIC DIRECT CONNECTION BETWEEN FANS AND U2 BAND
The studios spaces at the top of the tower are in visual connection with the big multifunctional disco-hall at ground floor.
A void visual cone goes throught the whole tower enlarging at the basement until covering the all ground floor.
Suspended from ground floor, over the the multifunctional "arena" from a part and expanding to the tower top to the other, under the transparent steel and glass pavement of the U2 studio at the least floor, it let the studio been seeing from the ground.
Covered with elastic membranes like diaphragm of loudspeaker the cone hollow works like an acoustic sound chest.
Rehearsal in the studio can therefore be put in direct connection and be listened amplified from the ground floor foyer from where can be catch a glimpse of the band suspended in the void over 60 metres higth on the glass pavement.
The whole building is a musical machine thad reduces to none the distance between the band and the fans.
What happen in the studios at the top fells to the ground in top gear while the fans beating energy is suken from bottom to the top, in a cannibal like exchange where the band feeds on the fans and the fans on the band.
Suspended structure and bearer frame. The large cavity hollowed tube cone is sustained by pilaster along the platform perimeter, suspending the cone above the large ground foyer, whereas it become the only bearing frame of the tower.
Masculine and feminine at once, the building with its external phallic shape expressing the propulsive power of music, inside is void to receive the public.
